The training you need
Step by Step
With PREPARE/ENRICH®, you don’t just receive a packet of materials to figure out on your own. You’ll get thorough training on the program, providing you with the skills you need to use the PREPARE/ENRICH® materials most effectively.
You’ll learn how to:
- Administer the online assessment
- Interpret couples’ reports
- Provide useful feedback to couples
- Guide couples’ exercises
- Teach relationship skills
- Work more effectively with couples
The PREPARE/ENRICH® Certification Workshop is designed to help facilitators learn how to administer and provide feedback to premarital and married couples using core and over 20 supplemental exercises.
Learn to help couples identify their strengths and growth areas in categories such as Communication, Conflict Resolution, Spiritual Beliefs & Financial Management.
PREPARE/ENRICH® has two components:
- Online assessment which tailors the scales to each couple
- Over 20 couple exercises that teach relationship skills
After completing training you receive:
- PREPARE/ENRICH® Facilitator ID
- Certification of Completion
- Complimentary online scoring
- All training sessions and materials available for review online
With each couple scored online, you receive:
- Facilitator’s Report (20-25 pages)
- Couple’s Report (10 pages)
- Couple Workbook (over 20 exercises)
- Feedback Guide (2 pages)

Cantor Erik Contzius
Cantor Erik Contzius is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in psychology and was ordained with a Masters of Sacred Music from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. He received his Prepare-Enrich® training in 1997 and has been working with couples for many years since. He has served three Reform Jewish congregations in his career across the country, but since 2013 has stepped off the pulpit to make more time for his family in Peekskill, New York. He continues to work with couples on their big day, focusing on Jewish, Interfaith, Same-Sex, and Secular ceremonies.

This is a virtual training conducted on Google Meet.
Upon the completion of this form, a deposit of $80 will be required to reserve your spot. You will also have to register at the Prepare-Enrich website after finishing the form. Instructions will be emailed to you. Registration Deadline is June 2, 2020.
